Top Competitors

The DeMarini CF prioritizes a large sweet spot for consistent contact, similar to the Easton Ghost. Both are composite bats designed for power hitting in fastpitch softball. However, the DeMarini CF has a lighter swing weight, while the Easton Ghost might have a slight edge in pure power. The Louisville Slugger LXT offers a balanced swing weight for powerful swings, similar to the Ghost. Both use composite materials and cater to fastpitch players. The LXT boasts superior durability, whereas the Easton Ghost might offer a slightly larger sweet spot for more forgiving hits.

Progression of the Easton Ghost Softball Bats

Each iteration of the Ghost bat has generally focused on improving barrel performance, expanding the sweet spot, enhancing feel, and optimizing swing speed. Easton has consistently used feedback from players and advanced materials science to refine the Ghost series.

👍 Pros
This is an awesome bat with A+ pop. (And no sting!)
Highly recommend this bat -- absolutely worth the cost. My child was a so-so hitter and is now stroking homers.
Seen a big improvement in my daughter’s hitting. Finally believe that bats make a difference.
👎 Cons
This bat might be hot, but there are real durability issues.
Disappointed that after a month, the paint on the bat is chipping away. Over time I could've seen this happening, but not after a month.
After looking closely, the decals were flaking off of the bat. This was the second time using the bat. Poorly designed.
The Ghost gives low vibration and offers a solid swing. But what you give up is the weight distribution. You need to have a strong swing for the Ghost. Many young kids think they will get a Ghost bat and hit home runs. No. You have to have the swing to hit a home run with this bat. Something to note is that my Ghost bat broke. They have about 500 hits on them, maybe 600. I wouldn't suggest using a Ghost in the batting cage because it will wear down faster.
