Progression of the Warrior Evo

The Warrior Evo Lacrosse helmet is a standalone model that was released in 2018. It is praised for its innovative features, especially the BOA® fit system. This system uses a dial to create a snug and customizable fit, similar to a high-end snowboard boot.

👍 Pros
The Evo doesn't make my head feel weighed down, and the fit is nice and snug - I don't feel any pressure points at all.
I think the BOA closure system is a total game-changer. It's really cool that you can adjust the fit easily on the fly using the dial.
It's a great choice for all ages and skill levels, particularly those looking for a helmet that is super lightweight.
👎 Cons
Compared to other helmets on the market, Evo's color selection is somewhat lacking.
The Evo's sizing runs a bit small. Be sure to take precise measurements and maybe order a size up to guarntee a better fit.
Not the best option for a defensemen or players in a more competitive league.
Anything Warrior makes is going to be top-of-the-line. My favorite feature of the EVO is the BOA Fit System. It's perfect for in-game adjustments and creates a super secure fit—no more helmet bobblehead action. It also has a high-impact absorption liner. Although the EVO sits at the higher end of the price range for lacrosse helmets, it's worth it if you play competitive lacrosse and need high-end protection features.
