Ping i15 Irons are designed for more advanced players who seek better control, consistent ball flight, and increased distance on their shots. The progressive set design features long irons that are designed to promote forgiveness, while the short irons are designed to enhance control. The i15 utilizes tungsten weight low in the toe to maximize forgiveness and optimize center of gravity (CG) for improved trajectories. The Custom Tuning Port behind the hitting area provides a solid feel and sound across the hitting surface that low handicappers will appreciate. The Ping i15 irons use the same technology from the company’s G15 line of irons but creates a sleeker iron that specifically appeals to better players for more workability and shot control.

### Product Description 

Winner of the 2012 Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Award, the Ping i20 Irons offer distance and shot-shaping control for more advanced golfers. The progressive head size and offset throughout the set is a key feature design to the i20 irons. The longer irons are high-launching and more forgiving while the shorter irons feature less offset and enhance shot control. A vertical Custom Tuning Port (CTP) creates a lower center of gravity (CG) for optimal launch conditions and different options for weight positioning. Stabilization Bars in the cavity improve the overall feel while the thicker face is extremely responsive and ensures distance control. A high-density tungsten toe weight optimizes forgiveness and improves a high-launch trajectory with low spin.


### Expert Notes

Ping i20 irons are a huge change to the i15’s, with a non-glare satin chrome finish. They feature a new CTP in the back of the head that stabilizes the iron throughout the swing, and the new sole design enhances turf interaction. Look for a smaller head size and new offset, which gives these irons a new look and feel. Shorter irons can be flighted lower and longer irons will stay in the air a little longer for softer landing shots onto the green.

### Product Description

Ping 56 Irons feature a compact head design and thin top lines for a Tour-inspired look and feel that will appeal to better players. The compact design with curved edges and a more squared profile provides excellent feedback at impact. A lower moment of inertia (MOI) and minimal offset makes these irons incredibly workable and playable for low handicap players. Grooves in the face enhance spin on the ball and provide added control. Variable Tungsten Weighting utilizes progressive weights in the toes of the clubs to give the long irons higher launch trajectories and in the short irons lower trajectories. In addition, the narrow stabilizing bars behind the clubface work to give the long irons more distance while the wider stabilizing bars in the short irons help control launches.
