Top Competitors

The Mizuno Pro utilizes Japanese Kip leather, known for a slightly lighter feel and a quicker break-in period. This is ideal for players who want a glove that conforms to their hand faster. In contrast, the Wilson A2000 and Rawlings Heart of the Hide favor American leather, offering a more traditional feel and a longer break-in that transforms the glove into an extension of your hand over time.

👍 Pros
This is truly a high end glove with great feel and durability.
I really like the quality of this glove, the kip leather is very nice. You get what you pay for in terms of quality with the Mizuno.
This is by far the best glove my son has used, the glove is light and broke in very well.
👎 Cons
The finger holes and placement of fingers are uncomfortable.
The glove comes a little bigger than advertised. Not great for smaller hands.
The seam on the wrist strap is on the left side and it rubs my thumb making it uncomfortable.
The Mizuno Pro is a top-of-the-line glove for serious players. Mizuno uses their craftsmanship and ridiculously high-quality leather to build a glove that feels like an extension of your hand. Sure, they’re expensive, and you won’t see many on the diamond in the US—but they’re popular in Japan with good reason. The leather needs some break-in time, but if you're a dedicated ballplayer looking for unmatched performance and a glove built to last, the Mizuno Pro is a winner.
