The Surgeon RX2 from STX features Puregrip, an innovative shaft shape design that optimizes hand contact points for greater stick control. That, combined with a special raised texture all along the shaft, ensures a steady grip. This twig is pretty lightweight as well, thanks to the 3K carbon fiber that it’s constructed from. The Surgeon RX2 features an upper kick, which allows you to load up your stick more on shots. For the stick’s interior, a patented nano enhanced resin system will prevent micro fractures from forming and spreading.

If you’re picking up a Surgeon RX2 stick for the first time, you’ll be instantly impressed by the stick’s overall balance and unique shaft feel. STX sticks seem to keep popping up more among pro players, which has sparked a lot of collegiate and high school level hockey players to which to test the RX2 out. The puck feel on these sticks is perhaps their best attribute, thanks in large part to the blade’s texture. The shaft provides a ton of contact area for the hands and feels quite durable and sturdy, which allows you to lean your full body into the stick when shooting.

### Product Description 

The STX Surgeon RX is a lightweight, composite hockey stick. The shaft of this stick is made of 12K carbon, which is engineered to be strong and light. The stick also features STX’s spear shaping from the shaft down to the blade. This provides the player with a better-balanced stick overall. The bottom of the shaft has a narrow flex point in order to make fast plays on the ice. The upper portion of the shaft is slightly stiffer to give the stick a lower kick-point, which allows you to shoot harder. The blade of the stick is made with STX’s Quad Core technology. This gives the player better feel of the puck while maintaining rigidity in blade.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

Any player who has experimented and played with top-of-the-line skates from a variety of brands will tell you that True VH skates are hands down some of the best yet. As far as a custom fitting boot, these exceed any other skate by far. There are no pressure points or pinching areas anywhere in the skate that could not be corrected with a mold. The fit alone produces an unbelievable feel and response on the ice and it’s not surprising why the presence of these wheels continues to increase at the professional level.
