* These skates are like an extension of my feet. The custom-fitting process means almost no break-in period. The comfort level is incredible, and I can skate for hours without any pain or discomfort.
* The boot is super responsive and allows for maximum energy transfer in my strides.  The heat-moldable option lets you customize the flex profile to your liking, which is a game-changer.
* The skates feel incredibly lightweight, which helps with agility and maneuverability.  Despite the lightweight build, the materials seem very durable. I've been using them for a season now, and they're still holding up great.

CONS:



* These skates are definitely an investment. The custom fitting process adds to the cost, which might not be feasible for everyone.
* The custom fitting process takes time, and there can be a waitlist to get your skates made.  If you need skates right away, this might not be the best option.
* While the custom fitting is great in theory, it might not be perfect for everyone.  Some users with very complex foot shapes might still experience some fit issues.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

PROS:



* These skates are incredible! Super lightweight and feels responsive, which is exactly what I was looking for in a skate for quick cuts and accelerations. My strides feel really explosive.
* The fit on these skates is spot on. I went with the medium width and it feels like an extension of my foot. The SpeedBlade XS steel gives me some of the best edge control I've ever had.
* Big difference from my old skates. The ankle support in the JetSpeeds is top-notch. I feel really locked in and stable on my edges.

CONS:



* Less durable than expected for the price. The lining around the ankle already shows some signs of wear after just a couple of months of use. 

 



* I found the break-in period for these skates to be a bit longer than usual.  It took a good few weeks before they started to feel comfortable.
* These skates felt a bit too stiff for me, especially in the forefoot area. It restricted my toe flexion a bit and made it harder to get a good push-off. Maybe better suited for a more powerful skater than myself.

This skate is intended for people who skate about once a week and are not super competitive. It'll hold up. If you skate ten times a week with these skates, they will only last you a little while, maybe a month or two. However, the main thing is that there is no quick or easy release for the metal runners or the blades. Many players look for skates with a metal release, which will let them swap out their blades. The more you sharpen them, the thinner they get. And in this case, you'd have to replace the whole bottom, the holder. It's more intensive than just clicking a button and adding new blades. But really, a solid skate for those who don’t skate every day.
