The AS3 Pro is a carbon composite one-piece boot. It's a higher-level skate with a premium liner for moisture wicking, an interchangeable, custom-fitting tongue, and an improved blade lock system that secures the blade to the holder. Swapping out blades is super easy. The AS3 will have a more anatomical, snug fit. It has good heel locking, giving you reall good acceleration and power.

* The one-piece boot does require a break-in period, and I found it to be a bit uncomfortable at first. There are some serious initial pressure points and blisters happening on my feet.
* Baked these skates and am currently on my 4th time getting these punched. There is no room on the inner side of these skates for the bones in an average persons foot near the ankle.

The AS-570 is in a good state. You have the ankle-locking memory foam and it offers a lot of power and comfort. This skate might not be as durable as other comparable models. It doesn't have the same high-end materials as the 5 Pro, but the AS-570 has a really good anatomical fit. It's a great skate if you don't really need the pro-level durability because you might only be skating on the weekends, but you still want something decent.

The RBZ skates were much wider and had a lot of negative space. They also had a problem with heel lock, which caused skaters to slip out of their heels. This led to skaters overtightening their skates, damaging the quarter packages and eyelets on the lacing. CCM seriously considered these issues when designing the new and improved, full composite JetSpeed ice skates. The upgrades to the Jetspeed line include: 



* 40 grams lighter than their RBZ predecessor
* Contoured RocketFrame™ full composite boot. 
* Double-stitched tendon guard to improve their durability.
* A JetProtect tongue. The first layer of the tongue contains thick felt, then a layer of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) foam, and finally, a layer of HD (High Density) foam. The outer portion of the tongue features a protective ridge for the laces to rest upon, a "heavy weapon" in the battle against lace-bite.
* Custom support insoles which come in high-arch, mid-arch, and low-arch options.

* These skates are a fantastic option for beginner to intermediate players. They offer a good balance of comfort, performance, and affordability. The boot is supportive enough for learning proper technique, and the steel provides decent edge control.
* The boot feels nice and lightweight. It allows for quick turns and good responsiveness, which is exactly what I was looking for.  My skating feels more dynamic.
* The heat-moldable liner is a great feature for getting a more personalized fit. I was able to get rid of some pressure points around my ankles, which makes a big difference in comfort for longer skates.

* These skates felt a bit too soft for me. I couldn't get the same level of energy transfer as with a stiffer boot. If you're a more advanced player who needs maximum power transfer, you might want to consider a higher-end model.
* I've seen some mixed reviews about the durability of these skates.  While they seem fine for now, I'm a little worried about how they'll hold up with long-term use.

It'll give you a good feel of the JetSpeed line. The 250 doesn't have the quick-release holder, so you'd have to replace the bottom, but in most cases, for a recreational skater or someone just learning, it’s a great skate.
