* I am pleased to say that my son has experienced an increased exit speed and longer distances. He has noticed that the bat has an expanded sweet spot, resulting in more comfortable hits with less sting.
* My son had a few mishits but the ball still came off decently, and he mentioned that there was no vibration. I would recommend this bat, especially for younger kids who are improving their skills but still want success.
* A go-to choice when under pressure. It has a large sweet spot, providing a ton of power. The bat is also easy to swing and consistently achieves a higher exit velocity off the tee compared to a Cat9 alloy and 23' meta.

**CONS**



* I purchased the -8 version, which has a small sweet spot. The knob is great, but the grip is not as effective. 
* If you are still 11, I suggest you get the drop ten because it has a bigger sweet spot and more pop due to its smaller aluminum content. Overall, it's a nice medium-swinging -8! 
* I was unaware that this bat was the Junior version and only recommended for Coach Pitch.

The CAT8 is an older model from 2019 and a good BBCOR and USSSA bat. Very good performing bat with a sound that players love. Lightweight and easy to swing. It's probably one of the best sellers, and since the CAT8 is still available, it's perhaps one of the better bang for the buck. Prices dropped for this older model. So, it is a good match for an entry-level player on a tight budget.

-   I bought the Easton Ghost bat (28/18) for my 7-year-old son, who plays kid pitch. It's great! No vibration, excellent pop. He's excelled in batting since he started using it. Worth the cost. Highly recommended!
    
-   Bought the 29-inch version instead of the 28-inch for my 8-year-old. It makes a cracking sound, but he hits 20 feet further with it than his old bat. No vibration issues yet. Overall, a solid bat.
    
-   My 11-year-old son loved this bat. He used it in a tournament right out of the package and almost all of his team used it too. They scored 19 runs in that game.

The Ghost X Evolution is a two piece composite bat. It’s one of the better Little League bats of 2019 because it has a lighter weight and is easy to swing. In the USA marketplace, it was probably one of the better bats. It has a cool paint job, which is attractive for a Little Leaguer, where looks can often be more of a consideration than performance.

### Product Description 

The Easton Z-Core features Lock and Load technology, which allows you to adjust your swing weight. There are three on-the-fly swing weight settings to choose from: Speed, Balanced, or XL. The 2016 Easton Z-Core is a single-piece aluminum alloy bat with a balanced swing. The Z-Core, not to be confused with the Z-Core Torq or Z-Core XL, incorporates an internal composite reinforcement along the length of its barrel. This gives the bat a considerably large barrel for a single-piece alloy. Easton often refers to this as ‘Mako-izing’ the bat which is a reference to the Easton Mako’s large barrel size.
