Wilson’s A2000 glove series has been a baseball staple since it was first released in 1957, and used by Ted Williams and Ernie Banks. We players have always known A2000’s for their Pro Stock leather’s durability, which continues to evolve and improve over time. In recent years, Wilson has started to combine the A2000’s legendary Pro Stock leather with a new SuperSkin material, which makes gloves more lightweight, moisture-resistant and twice as durable. Rawlings excels when it comes to producing gloves for every age, skill level, and price
point—proven by their Premium glove series. The most recent Premium model was
released in 2021, and features the same durable leather that's easy to close (and that youth players 
love), Yet, the newest release did switch up
the glove’s palm and web color, moving away from black and in favor of dark brown
– which I feel compliments this glove’s old fashioned feel. What hasn’t changed about
the Premium series is that the gloves endure for seasons on end, and often remain
good enough for a youth player to use until it’s time to get an adult glove. Over anything
else, kids want a glove they can trust. And Rawlings Premium gloves are as trustworthy
as they come.

Renegade

Rawlings Renegade gloves are perfect for kids who are still versatile enough to play
every position on the field. The most recent Renegade models evolved from older
versions by including a Velcro wrist strap that makes for an easy fit, a pro mesh back
design that I’ve heard youth players are enamored with, and a black, red, and gray

But we want to remind you that this brand also pumps out a great selection of baseball gloves! In particular, Louisville Slugger TPX baseball gloves are constructed with cowhide leather. Featuring a steer hide leather lining, and a sturdy finger welting, TPX gloves are known for being incredibly durable. The 2018 TPX glove features a dual post web (or an H-web), and an open back. The positions recommended to use the infield TPX glove include short stop, second base, and third base.

### Expert Notes

TPX gloves are pretty flashy, but they’re great for players at any level. These mitts are made with a mid-tier leather that comes about 40 percent broken in, allowing players to customize these gloves 60 percent of the way. TPX gloves are best suited for any infield position, mainly shortstop, 2B, 3B, or pitcher to be exact. This glove maintains its shape well and won’t easily experience wear and tear.  You’ll be able to use a TPX glove for several seasons if you take care of it properly!
