These essential plugs ensure that any old binding holes are sealed. They are easy to use, and here are some top tips from our workshop:
1) Don't get hung up on colour, most of the time these will hide under your new bindings if being fitted!
2) For easier insertion, put the plugs in a glass of water boiled from a kettle for 5 minutes. This will soften them a little allowing you to press them in much further.
3) To insert, place a block of wood under your ski and the area of the plug, and then use a rubber mallet and strike the plugs from directly above. If you are lucky enough to have a press you can also use this.
4) Trim any excess carefully with a fresh stanley blade.
5) For the perfect seal, if you have a soldering iron gently melt and swirl the plug to really get it sealed at the edges of the old hole.
