Skis were a store display. New. Never skied. There are some surface scratches 148cm: Sidecut: 129/75/108 Radius: 9.7m On the performance side, this ski will be a lot of fun for very athletic female skiers. The Super Joy loves speed. It is grippy, stable, holds the line in the turn, and provides solid edge hold in all conditions. Its fairly short turn radius, quick turn initiation, and good rebound at the end of the turn make it very responsive and agile, which the testers really appreciated. However, the Super Joy is relatively stiff so it requires effort and good technique. You have to be aggressive and forward, pressing on the tongue of the boot to flex the ski properly. The ski seems less comfortable in skidded turns than last year’s model. The Head Super Joy is an excellent ski for this category and will please female skiers who already have good technical skills, have mastered carving, and love speed.
