Size: 171cm Sidecut: 125/95/109 Radius: 22m This Blizzard Zero G 95 feels very lightweight underfoot . It is very pleasant in the uphill, you can’t feel it, there’s no inertia. What are its limits? In the downhill going through mounds and chop, you must be wary because they have a tendency to cross. It’s very easy and designed for skiers who aren’t looking to bust a gut. Which is kinda strange as this isn’t the case with the Blizzard Zero G 105 that we gave an award to. On the Zero G 95, if you are a good skier and are stockily built you need to focus more. The tip is not very assertive or very present. If you put too much pressure on the tail you have the impression that it has a hinge at the back end of the heel track, it bends a little. So, this is also a positive point because the Blizzard Zero G 95 oversteers, but you lose handling. On hard snow, at sustained speed, with a little weight or pressure the grip deteriorates. On the other hand, skidding turn initiation is super easy. The ski pivots perfectly flat, an interesting aspect for all emergency turns in a raised stance. Sequencing in difficult snow conditions where things get tough, is a little less convincing.
