John Carlson used Bauer Vapor Hyperlite pro stock hockey skates. These skates are from John Carlson of the Washington Capitals of the NHL. These skates are in excellent used condition with very little to no signs of wear throughout the boot as well as the holder. The laces on the skates came with the skates. These skates feature size 288 Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holders. These skates were sourced without any steel and thus are being sold as such.

The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite is a top-tier ice hockey skate designed for professional and aspiring professional players who prioritize agility and quickness. It features the revolutionary Powerfly holder, which flexes to enhance responsiveness during various skating movements, leading to faster acceleration and smoother transitions. The skate's lightweight design, achieved through the use of Aerolite foam, allows for increased mobility without sacrificing support or comfort. Within the Bauer lineup, the Vapor Hyperlite sits alongside the Supreme line, with the former emphasizing quickness and maneuverability, while the latter focuses on power and energy transfer.

I've had multiple pairs of the HyperLites, both retail and custom-made. It's like the HyperLite took the best elements from all the top Vapor skates and made them even lighter and more comfortable. The Hyperlite is the lightest skate I've ever used. It's almost so light that you need to get adjusted to putting pressure differently using your blades because heavier skates do give you a little extra weight. Also, it's a great travel skate. Everything is weight-based if you're flying somewhere, so the HyperLite is an excellent option.
