Vaughn boot in Reebok holders with new steel ... size 8 , 3 yrs old (not used during covid yrs) had new boots put into my reebok holders and then new steel put into the holders. Have just moved to new Bauer Elite skates with no cowling Steel is perfect , boot is excellent , cowling is marked up with black puck marks as goalie skates normally would be. There is lots and lots of life left in these skates. O just decided it was time at 60 yrs old to move to ligjter weight newer style skates. ... the new steel is worth the selling price. Freshly sharpened at 5/8 regular.
