New in 2017, The E3.5 features Speed Skin Technology that is designed and created for quick gliding and explosive cross-crease power pushes. CCM has also uses a lightweight, thin-molded core to allow easier movement in the crease. To further enhance feel and control, the E3.5 uses a tight fitting calf strap, allowing the pad to feel a closer to the leg. The outer flex of the pad is a single break, allowing for maximum flexibility. The pad’s inner flex is pre-curved with a single break core. The E3.5 features a 90 degree boot flex with torsional flex as well as a deep, ultra-soft boot channel that allows for more freedom of movement. The knee cradle offered in the E-Flex III line is deeper than its predecessor (E-Flex II). The removable knee cradle wrap with recessed foam plays a big role in closing the 5 hole, and the PE foam knee raiser helps seal the pad to the ice.
