Lightweight, Half-piece Cuff: Redesigned for the HZRDUS 9X4 blocker, a half-piece cuff improves response with a more direct connection between the palm and blocker board. Additionally, True's half-piece cuff helps to reduce binding between the blocker cuff and chest protector sleeves, improving range-of-motion in the wrist.
Bindingless, 615 Blocker Board: Redesigned from the L20.2 blocker's 595 profile, the HZRDUS 9X4 blocker's one-piece 615 board construction greatly reduces flex between the board and sidewall. On the ice, the 9X4 blocker's new 615 profile gives it a tight, responsive feel with a smooth curve to fire pucks into the corners.

590 Break: Standard on True/Lefevre retail gloves, the HZRDUS 9X4 glove is built around the popular 590 break. The most common break found in off-the-shelf gloves, the 590 break projects a wide catching shape with a neutral, more whole-handed closure.
Skate Laced, Double T Pocket: Further enhancing puck control, the HZRDUS 9X4 glove features a wide, skate-laced Double T pocket; complemented by nylon cord lacing between the T spines for better puck visibility.

Redesigned, Composite Reinforced Thigh Rise: Compared to the previous L20.2 leg pads, the HZRDUS 9X4 leg pads feature a 30% stiffer thigh rise to ensure a tight pad seal. With its high-strength, low-weight composite reinforcement, the new HZRDUS 9X4 thigh rise measures 40% thinner than the L20.2 pads, easing pad overlap and giving the pads a lighter, more agile feel.
Stiff, Flat Face Build: Evolving from True/Lefevre's L20 line of pads, the HZRDUS 9X4 pads are built around a stiff core wrapped in high-density padding to fire pucks off the pad. Complemented by their clean, flat-face appearance, the HZRDUS 9X4 pads deliver precise, high-speed rebound control.
Open Boot Angle: A stiffened, more open boot angle encourages the HZRDUS 9X4 pads to sit higher on the skates, easing pad rotation, and improving coverage at the posts.
No Break Outer Roll: The HZRDUS 9X4 leg pads feature a stiff, no-break outer roll that reinforces the top butterfly edge to help reduce skip over and ensure a tight 5-hole seal.
