Circa 1922-23 set of Pre-MacGregor Chieftain woods. Of all the fancy face woods that were produced, the Chieftain woods reign supreme. MacGregor sold Chieftain woods in only 1927-1929, and they were the most expensive golf clubs that could be purchased at that time. These gorgeous clubs have oval ivory back weights. The clubs are in high grade condition, 100years old!
