Used Men's Right Handed Driver Stiff Flex 10.5 Loft

For this club, my protractor (not a precise instrument!) indicates this is between 10 – 11 degrees. So it is about 10-1/2. Building on the quote below, clubmakers of the time believed a wood head mounted on a graphite shaft would get more distance than the metal headed clubs of the time. The Boron Graphite shaft is stiff. See notes below. This custom hand made club measures 44”. This is short by today’s standards, but many are now saying a shorter shaft is more accurate and longer for the average golfer. Even today’s Tour pros’ drivers are now measuring a tad over 44”. It has the original custom Joe Powell wrap grip. The insert is aluminum – not cycolac or other materials which were popular insert materials of the time. This club meant business. And a golfer may literally “hit it on the screws”.
